An accomplished and highly sought-after composer, Kelly Moran has collaborated with artists such as Oneohtrix Point Never and FKA Twigs as part of their live ensembles. As a solo artist, Moran has developed a unique range of experimental piano compositions in a critically acclaimed discography. "Moves in the Field" features duets with the Yamaha Disklavier, a technologically advanced version of a mechanical piano. Moran enhances her pianistic abilities by using the Disklavier to write complex piano parts that exceed human capabilities, resulting in multi-layered compositions that blur the boundaries between man and machine.
