Kindly Now

Description

For fans of: Bon Iver, Villagers, Laura Marling, Olafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm. After his first album Dear... released in a low-key setting and Birthdays, acclaimed by critics, Kindly Now was written while Henson was struggling with the compromise between the duty to put himself forward and the desire to make the music he loves. It is a dilemma he presents in 'Alright', the album’s opening track, premiered in advance and a dazzling introduction to Kindly Now. On this album, we find the influence of Henson’s many side projects: from his introduction to orchestration with the chamber music album Romantic Works to the electronic textures crafted in his fully electronic album Behaving, as well as his first poetry collection Idiot Verse or the music he composed for the play Young Men.
