Beethoven On Speed is the second studio album by heavy metal guitarist and violinist The Great Kat. As a former student of Juilliard School, it’s no surprise that she is best known for her thrash metal interpretations of well-known classical pieces. Her classical training, technical skills, and self-promotion are sometimes compared to those of Yngwie Malmsteen. The 1990 album Beethoven on Speed includes the track "Beethoven Mosh (5th symphony)," which remains one of her most popular songs to this day. For the first time since its original release, Beethoven on Speed is being reissued.
