Discovery alongside the great Greek singer Angelique Ionatos, Katerina Fotinaki's solo career has established itself as an obvious choice both for her talents as a singer and guitarist and for her charisma and humor. Also a composer, Katerina Fotinaki won the first prize in the national composition competition in Greece, organized by the Onassis Foundation and the national Radio-TV. Through 13 tracks, the songs that Katerina Fotinaki delivers in her native language all possess a great poetic scope, whether she has written them or borrowed them. The artist allows herself a luminous, colorful interpretation, letting her voice transform, sometimes expressing itself through flights of great delicacy, full of restraint, introspection, and always great elegance.
