Formed in 1991 by Jonas Renkse & Anders Nyström, and progressing from early pioneers of the nascent black/death/doom movement, to figureheads of progressive metallic rock, Katatonia presented their eleventh studio opus, the poignant City Burials, in early 2020. Due to a somewhat unforeseen global event that occurred that year and made international touring virtually impossible for artists, Katatonia created a more intimate "In Lockdown" show that was streamed live from Studio Grondahl, in Stockholm, on May 9, 2020.
