More than 40 years after the low-key release of this track "Cold Café" in 1981, it finally gains the international recognition it deserves. And is acknowledged as one of the most important Australian minimal wave tracks. Thanks to the label that pioneers the Australian territory: Efficient Space, on the compilation Sky Girl, which brought it back into the spotlight. Originally from Adelaide, Karen Marks started in music first through music journalism and then through band management (the synth punks of JAB: Johnny Crash, Ash Wednesday and Bodhan X) who later created Models: one of the flagship bands of the punk movement. She then collaborated with Wednesday on her own tracks, including the famous "Cold Café", which was released on a 45 rpm single on Astor.
