After several years of touring and sessions with other talented musicians, Justin Walter is back with a new album. Having worked on and explored the EVI, or Electronic Valve Instrument, an 80s synth/brass hybrid instrument, he eventually created several looping pieces composed of EVI, transformed trumpet, and fragmented electronics. He decided to take the project to the studio where he worked more methodically with Erik Hall and drummer Quinn Kirchner.
