Description

JUR, behind this strange name lies a tall, powerful woman, and a deep voice, vibrating like a telluric polyphony, a bouquet of thistles. The universe asserts itself in its unreal singularity, blending languages and stories. Jur Domingo arrived in France at the age of 23. She began working with Julien Vittecoq. They wrote the first songs in Spanish, Catalan, and French. In 2007, with Nicolas Arnould, they created the band JUR. Each one composes and writes. JUR became a quartet with the arrival in 2010 of Jean-Baptiste Maillet, drummer. Since 2008, the band JUR has given nearly 200 concerts in France and Spain. After two albums (Juste Ici in 2009 and Ladrona in 2010), JUR will present its new album FOSSILE in the autumn, produced by Cridacompany and distributed by l'Autre Distribution (national release in September 2014).
