Formed in Copenhagen by Jesper "Junior" Mortensen and Jeppe "Senior" Laursen, former members of the band Ludo-X, Junior Senior burst onto the scene in 2002 with a debut album that is as exuberant as it is unclassifiable. D-D-Don't Don't Stop the Beat blends sixties pop, garage rock, disco, hip-hop, and lo-fi dance in a succession of short and irresistibly catchy tracks, led by the singles Move Your Feet, Rhythm Bandits, and Shake Your Coconuts. Released for the twentieth anniversary of the album, this Crunchy Frog reissue (FROG026-1) restores the original pressing in its entirety, with the tracklisting, mastering, and cover art from 2002, as they were conceived by the duo.
