Throughout their 15-year musical journey, Jungle by Night has always known that their music is not about individual talent, but about the blend of all the elements that its members bring to the table. This realization gave birth to the theme of their seventh album, "Synergy." With the mantra "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts" resonating in their minds, Jungle by Night set out to create an album that was recorded in the moment, as live as possible, to capture the energy between the musicians. To take it further, they opened the doors of their studio in Amsterdam and invited some of the most prolific singers from the Netherlands, such as Spinvis, Sef, Merol, Pitou, and Meral Polat. Each singer brought their unique style to the mix, infusing the tracks with depth and emotion. Recorded in their beloved studio in Amsterdam Noord, "Synergy" captures the essence of Jungle by Night's creative spirit. Here, imperfection is embraced and spontaneity reigns supreme. From their earlier albums rich in brass to a stronger emphasis on the electronic groove of their latest, they boldly go where no band has gone before and now find themselves in the golden loop zone between analog dance music, nu-disco, Krautrock, 70s funk, and 80s electro. The shift to a more electronic sound may have been a small step for this joyful band of highly skilled musicians, but it has become a giant leap for those on the dance floor.
