Julien Clerc

Description

En plein May 68, a few words from a new song reach even the barricades: "and I will abolish boredom," its performer tells us, in a trembling and devilishly original voice. If the 45 rpm “La Cavalerie” will remain unavailable during the events, it will mark the birth of an artist as much as of a style. Under his long curly locks, Julien Clerc (Paul-Alain Leclerc in private life, but who still calls him that?) is a fine melodist who, throughout his career, will evolve according to his lyricists. On this first album, Étienne Roda-Gil and Maurice Vallet already share the roles: the singles for the first, the album tracks for the second.
