Her exceptional sensitivity and subtlety compensated for her limited range and vocal training. In addition to recording some thirty albums between 1955 and 1969, London also had a career in both television and film. On her first album, "Julie Is Her Name," she is accompanied only by Barney Kessel on guitar and Ray Leatherwood on bass.
