"Fidelity" is the first solo album by rock icon Chrissie Hynde - founder and leader of the cult band The Pretenders, author of nine albums and around fifty singles, most of which have topped the charts in many countries. In thirty years of career, Chrissie Hynde has collaborated with many artists including Mick Ronson, INXS, Emmylou Harris, Incubus, Elvis Costello, Jeff Beck, Tom Jones, Cher, UB40, Neneh Cherry, U2, Ray Davies, Frank Sinatra, Sheryl Crow, Ringo Starr, Morrissey, (and many others) but had never recorded an album under another band name until now. It took her meeting with JP Jones, a 31-year-old musician, and their unconventional love story, both epic and fruitful, described unabashedly throughout the album. Against a Folk Rock backdrop sprinkled with blues and country touches, Hynde and Jones distill their relationship with sincerity and spirituality, making it a true moment of Rock & Roll.
