BRIGHT NIGHT FLOWERS

Description

Jon Fratelli, leader of the Scottish rock trio The Fratellis, will release a new solo album called “Bright Night Flowers” on February 15. Soul-noir or gothic country, you can call it whatever you like. Jon’s second solo outing is a masterpiece with a refreshing rhythm that differs from his recent work. Jon talks about the construction: “Almost all the songs were written on the piano, which is quite obvious when listening to this album. It seems to be the natural counterpart to the last album: moving from strong, colorful songs — some of which were built from a mix of different ideas — to something softer that works with better fluidity.”
