Cañonazo

Description

A leading artist and co-founder of Fania Records, Johnny Pacheco released "Cañonazo," Fania's very first record, in 1964. Under the emblem Pacheco y su Nuevo Tumbao, the percussionist offers a selection of popular Cuban standards from the 1950s and 1960s, including "Fania," a cover of "Fanía (Funché)" popularized by the Estrellas de Chocolate, which would give its name to the flagship Latin music label.
