Simulacrum
Description
A power trio in the vein of MARTIN, MEDESKI & WOOD, another trio from which — this will come as no surprise to anyone — organist JOHN MEDESKI hails. MATT HOLLENBERG is known as a member of CLERIC (WOM 038), and drummer KENNY GROHOWSKI — recently heard and appreciated on the album Psychomagia (TZ 8313) — from the ABRAXAS quartet (TZ 8302). The blend, as one would expect from ZORN, a formidable troublemaker, thwarts any attempt at classification, mixing metal with jazz, minimalism with noise or twelve-tone music. Fascinating!Buy Simulacrum at the best price
