The Hollywood Sound is an album by the legendary composer John Williams, performed by the Boston Pops Orchestra and conducted by Williams himself. This album includes a collection of some of the best Oscar-winning scores of all time. It features works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Herbert Stothart, Alan Menken, Miklós Rózsa, and John Barry, among others. It also showcases some of Williams' Oscar-winning scores, including "Star Wars," "Jaws," and "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial." On this album, Williams collaborates with American jazz-funk and soul-jazz saxophonist Grover Washington Jr., a Grammy Award winner.
