In 1979, musician John Greek, hailing from the Pacific Northwest, released "I'm Hot For Your Body" as a very limited edition maxi single. For six minutes of sordid and primitive disco blues, Mr. Greek slowly succumbs to the power of desire, chasing swirling string synths in the shadows as if they were ghosts, dousing everything in flanger as if it were lighter fluid. With the permission of Mr. Greek's rights holders, DFA has remastered the original and presents it alongside an even more unhinged version by Velvet Season & The Hearts Of Gold, the duo formed by Gerry Rooney (co-founder of the legendary Black Cock edits label) and Joel Martin (of Quiet Village).
