JOENSUU 1685 is a noisy trio that made a splash this year in Finland. This self-titled debut album, inspired by the 60s psych and garage scene and the wall of sound of the noise trailblazers of the late 80s (SPACEMEN 3, MY BLOODY VALENTINE,...) was recorded at the studio of their compatriots 22 PISTERPIKKO and earned them the chance to share the stage with WOLF PARADE and DIVISION OF LAURA LEE.
