Here is a reissue of two tracks from a legend of Caribbean music for the first time on vinyl! Jocelyn Virapin, singer-songwriter, passionate about gwoka, is originally from Basse-Terre (Guadeloupe). In 1990, he founded the group "Gwaka" and he opened for prestigious groups like Kassav (Zenith in 1991), Patrick St Eloi, Zouk Machine. His discography is impressive: more than 78 albums as a musician/arranger. In 1999, he founded the traditional music group "Beloka" still active after 4 albums and 26 years of career! In 2025, Jocelyn Virapin continues to compose, notably with Eddy Negrit within the duo Edjo-Ka and remains a great collector of Caribbean music.
