The mysterious disco group Jiri Jiri delivers an essential EP: four sublime and summery tracks, selected by DJ Kobayashi, the head of Batov Records, for the brand new 12-inch series "Give Me Disco," carefully curated by the label and named after the disco classic by Raja Zahr. Hailing from the international groove collective Muito Kaballa and the psychedelic travelers YIN YIN, Jiri Jiri has honed their musical talents and created four Neapolitan funk and pan-European disco tracks as captivating as the Adriatic coast. The songs on "Give Me Disco - Vol. 1" were born in Naples. Collaborators Jan Janzen and Niklas Mündemann enlisted the expertise of Pellegrino S. Snichelotto, founder of Early Sounds Recordings, former producer of Nu Genea, and a key architect of the Neapolitan funk revival.
