After a first album released in 2014 (Missouri Woods), JIM YOUNGER'S SPIRIT continues its captivating and hypnotic journey. The original project, based on the life of outlaw Jim Younger, a member of the famous Jesse James gang, is developed here in a psychedelic rock universe akin to the new American scene, celebrated annually at the Austin Psych Fest in Austin, Texas. Recorded in Toulouse (at Indian Ghost's studio), the album also features the active participation of Alex Maas, the singer of The Black Angels. The 9 tracks tell dark and tragic stories, bathed in fuzz guitars, acid organs, strange jaw harps, and carried by the deep and luminous voice of singer Polar Younger.
