Jethro Tull is a British rock band formed in Blackpool in the second half of the 1960s. Their music is marked by the very distinctive vocal style of leader Ian Anderson (a nasal but remarkably accurate voice), his unique work as a flutist, and by unusual and often complex song structures. The music of Jethro Tull incorporates elements of classical and Celtic music, blues (especially in their early days) as well as alternative art rock phases of rock. Despite this, it is difficult to identify specific artists who have directly influenced or been directly influenced by Jethro Tull, whose work remains unique in the world of rock. "Nothing Is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wight 1970" is an album by Jethro Tull released in 2004. It documents their performance at the 1970 Isle of Wight festival. "Living In The Past" is a double album by the British group Jethro Tull released in 1972. It is a compilation that includes tracks from albums, singles, and B-sides, as well as unreleased tracks, including two ("By Kind Permission Of" and "Dharma for One") recorded live. The original British and American editions do not contain exactly the same track listing, which is reflected in later CD reissues.
