The Englishwoman Jessie Ware was first discovered credited on the track "Nervous" by SBTRKT, featured on the album Numbers (2010). The young singer thus builds a background between soul and electro, which she combines with a sophisticated image.
In February 2012, the track "Running" is a hit in the Benelux. Then it's the turn of "110%" and "Wildest Moments" to enter the British charts, thus paving the way for the album Devotion, released on August 20, 2012, which enters directly at number five in sales in the UK. She is then nominated in September 2012 for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize, rewarding the British album of the year.
In October 2014, her second album Tough Love is released, produced by the duo BenZel (Two Inch Punch and Benny Blanco). Ed Sheeran and Miguel each contribute to the composition of a track. The first single from the album, "Tough Love," ranks alongside three other tracks.
The electro touch that predominated on her first two albums tends to fade in favor of urban pop on the singer's third full-length album, Glasshouse, which sees the light of day in October 2017.
She returns on June 5 with her fourth album "What’s Your Pleasure."
