Jerry David DeCicca is a songwriter and producer living in Bulverde, Texas. He has produced records for legendary artists such as Larry Jon Wilson, Bob Martin, Ed Askew, Chris Gantry, Will Beeley, and Ralph White, and has led many other musical projects. His former band, The Black Swans, was active between 2004 and 2011. Cardiac Country, his sixth solo album, was written a few months before he received a diagnosis that led to open heart surgery. Legendary steel guitarist BJ Cole plays on 8 of the 10 tracks of these folk-country gems from his home in London. The rest of the album was largely recorded live in San Antonio, Texas, at the excellent Blue Cat Studios.
