With long-time members Anna Butterss (Jason Isbell, SML) on double bass, Josh Johnson (Meshell Ndegeocello, SML) on saxophone, and Jay Bellerose (Elton John, Punch Brothers), the selections are refined and focused to recreate the atmosphere of a specific evening's setlist. The joy of space (unfortunately lost today) helped Parker build a beautifully multi-textured and gently shifting four-dimensional construction from simple ideas.
