Jeanne Cherhal’s 7th album, produced and arranged by Benjamin Biolay. It's a record that lets in space, air, and light. An album that bears the name of its author. Like a thirteen-track portrait that, more than ever, celebrates her freedom. One evening, Benjamin Biolay, who is my friend and my favorite singer, challenged me: he wanted to produce my next album. I had nothing ready at the time, but his eagerness and encouragement galvanized me, and thirteen songs were born! As soon as I wrote one, I would send him a simple piano-vocal demo. When we entered the studio, we knew what we wanted: to have fun and elevate everything. Wonderfully inspired, Benjamin gave wings to my songs and enveloped them in a sumptuous setting. On the last evening, we wrote and recorded a duet in a few hours, like a rekindling of a flame. This album is so much like me that its title became obvious; it's simply called Jeanne!
