Four years after her album "Radiate," which earned her two Victoires de la Musique awards – for Female Artist of the Year and Best Rock Album – Jeanne Added returns today with a third captivating album, titled "By Your Side." Jeanne Added has always sung about love, togetherness, and also breakups. "BY YOUR SIDE" is no exception. But she is no longer quite the same. Or rather, she is more herself than ever. Faced with ambient falsehood, she offers truth: the word "TRUTH" is heard in every track. "If I can't be entirely myself with people, there's no relationship possible," she confides. While "BY YOUR SIDE" speaks of soaring and lightness, it reinvents its author's existential anchoring while returning to her roots: the jazz and classical music she once studied at the Conservatoires of Reims and then Paris. "BY YOUR SIDE" reveals itself as a reassuring space-time, conveyed by its minimal, unembellished sound and Jeanne's voice, a "barometer" of our psychological state: "Between the notes, nestled amidst the frequencies and rhythms, in every inflection of my voice, I give everything."
