To mark the 40th anniversary of his unforgettable live album "The Concerts In China", Jean-Michel Jarre is releasing a remastered edition. Originally released in 1982, the album was the basis for a documentary filmed during a memorable 1981 tour of five concerts at the Shanghai and Beijing People's Stadium. It was the first time a Western music artist had performed in China after the Cultural Revolution. The remastered 40th anniversary album of "Concerts in China" will be available on double vinyl and CD, as well as in digital format. The track list reflects the original version of the album, including the magnificent studio recording "Souvenir of China" which closes the album. A new composition is featured on the album: "Fishing Junks at Sunset", with a new arrangement of a traditional Chinese song known as "Fisherman's Chant at Dusk", which was performed and recorded with the Beijing Conservatory Symphony Orchestra.
