Aaron Pilsan is only 25 years old, but he already has a rich career, a solo album dedicated to Beethoven and Schubert - which was very well received - and another one in duo with cellist Kian Soltani. A disciple of Lars Vogt, he has also received guidance from András Schiff... Bach has always been at the center of their collaborative work, and the young Austrian pianist has been fascinated since childhood by The Well-Tempered Clavier, "this musical journey that Bach undertakes with us in the first book: from the seemingly simple and joyful perfect chord of the famous Prelude in C major to the last fugue, of a complexity almost worthy of Schoenberg, whose subject already includes the twelve semitones.
