L'art de la fugue

Description

For her first CD, Schaghajegh Nosrati chose Bach. The ease with which the young pianist Schaghajegh Nosrati performs Bach is such that it has impressed illustrious musicians such as Sir András Schiff and Robert Levin: they speak of her playing as compelling and extraordinarily moving. Thanks to S. Nosrati’s first CD on GENUIN, we too can witness her extremely mature artistry. The fact that the pianist chose Bach’s opus ultimum, The Art of Fugue, completes the picture: the seemingly so imposing work is presented here with lightness and naturalness, becoming in her hands a sweeping narrative, which we listen to with delight and wonder.
