December 1976: An U.M.N.I (Unidentified Musical Object) piloted by Jean Michel Jarre collides with planet Earth: OXYGENE. December 1996: 20 years later, the continuation of the adventure, simply called OXYGENE 7-13, is released worldwide. December 2, 2016: Meeting with a third unprecedented trip... OXYGENE 3 concludes a trilogy that began just 40 years ago. After "Electronica" Volume 1 and Volume 2, released in October 2015 and May 2016 respectively, Jean Michel Jarre will offer his fans on December 2, 2016, the long-awaited and hoped-for continuation of Oxygene released in 1976. On the same date, two box sets will also be published, gathering all 3 parts under the title "Oxygène Trilogy." One version will contain the 3 CDs of the three albums, while another Deluxe version will contain in a 33rpm format box the 3 volumes in 3 CDs + 3 Vinyls as well as a luxurious book of photos and short texts explaining the genesis of Oxygene. The timing is well chosen to release this 3rd volume of Oxygene since Jean Michel Jarre will begin this fall a European tour of 39 dates, which will include 6 French dates, including one at the Arena Hotel in Bercy Paris on December 12.
