Grand Lievre

Description

After 2 years without an album, Jean-Louis Murat returns with Grand Lièvre. Recorded in just a few days in the south of France, the record sounds as if it were captured in live conditions. Ten tracks with beautiful music and lyrics, exploring themes dear to the artist: nature, the irony of the human condition, doubt, love, solitude. But here they are magnified, enveloped in swirling melodies that are both familiar and surprising, enhanced by rustling sounds, sound effects, and mysterious dialogues, along with a Muratian novelty of hypnotic and luminous choirs. This is Murat at the height of his art, intimate and immediate, secretive and universal. To be savored with great ears.
