Opium

Description

A musician, singer and accomplished songwriter, he released his first record, “Whiskey,” in 1996. Thanks to his delightfully old-fashioned song “So Tell The Girls That I Am Back In Town,” Jay-Jay, presenting himself as a kind of romantic anti-hero, immediately became the French public’s favorite. Sixteen years and 9 albums later (Tattoo, Poison, Antenna, Self-Portrait.), his music is as bewitching as ever, and it is with Opium, a new album due out in May 2015, that Jay-Jay Johanson comes back to mind.
