Key collaborator of Alfa Mist, Tom Misch and Jas Kayser, Jamie Leeming's musical mastery has long made him one of the most sought-after jazz guitarists in London. First known for his work on Alfa Mist's cult albums, he then launched a solo career, initially collaborating with pianist Maria Chiara Argirò on their 2020 collaborative album « Flow », followed by his first solo album « Resynthesis » in 2022 (featuring Laura Groves and Quinn Oulton). Jamie now returns with his second solo album. It features contributions from Laura Misch, Sly5thAve, Alfa Mist, Richard Spaven and Kaya Thomas-Dyke (who also painted the album's beautiful cover).Co-produced with Alfa Mist and inspired by albums from Milton Nascimento and Egberto Gismonti, « Sequent » is a constantly evolving twelve-track odyssey. Recorded live, using vintage production techniques, it captures the sound of musicians at the top of their game, captivated by the creation of an enveloping sonic tornado.
