James Krivchenia

Performing Belief/Blue Vinyl

Description

Big Thief drummer James Krivchenia makes a somewhat unexpected appearance on Mike Paradinas' Planet Mu label with what is, in a way, his fourth solo album. Accompanied by his accomplices Sam Wilkes and Joshua Abrams, he breathes a human dimension into an electronic universe of labyrinthine rhythms and sonic mosaics built from field recordings – mud, water, logs – used as percussive tools.
