JAMAICA returns with a second album, initiated with PETER FRANCO (DAFT PUNK), and produced by LAURENT D'HERBECOURT (PHOENIX), inspired by the discovery of the American west coast. VENTURA is indeed the culmination of an American journey that began during the world tour, which ultimately saw Jamaica settle in Los Angeles to start recording the album. Skillfully playing with the idea of a fantasized west coast, this second project shines as much for its nonchalance as for its sophisticated sounds. An album with accents of post-surf music, delivering powerful ballads perfect for listening to on a car radio. Supported by TUNDE ADEBIMPE (TV ON THE RADIO), CHRIS CASWELL, and DVNO, Jamaica continues its musical journey by offering us a beautiful demonstration of Rock FM, in the noblest sense of the term.
