Description
Solid Gold Heart is a collaboration between Jad Fair and Danielson. Daniel Smith of Danielson has always admired Fair, and been heavily influenced by the music of Half Japanese, the band Fair formed with his brother in the 70s. The collaboration between the two finally came to fruition when Joyful Noise Recordings named Fair their 2014 "Artist in Residence" and Danielson was selected (along with R. Stevie Moore, Teenage Fanclub’s Norman Blake, and Strobe Talbot) to record an album with him for a future limited edition box set release.
