For the first time, Izia takes ownership of singing in French with disconcerting naturalness and rare elegance. A 180° stylistic turn as well. Izia abandons her reinterpretation of rock rooted in the seventies to venture into a luminous and ethereal pop, with accents close to the minimalism dear to The XX. Enchanting synthesizers, skillful interweaving of minimalist guitars, airy vocal gimmicks, hypnotic beats, she delivers a subtle mix between melancholy and dancefloor. She worked on this album in partnership with Johnny Hostile, founder of Pop Noire and producer of albums by Savages and Lescop, among others.
