Israel Vibration’s cult album reissued for the first time since its release in 1996 Released in 1996, Free to move is the zenith of the group’s career. In France alone, the CD sold 40,000 copies in just a few months, with a tour of around 30 dates across the country and a three-night run in Paris at the Elysées Montmartre, the reggae temple of the time. Featured on the cover of the magazine L'AFFICHE at the time (Olivier Cachin was editor-in-chief), and with a highly noticed live appearance on Nulle PartAilleurs on Canal+ as a musical guest, the group was then considered THE reggae group that was making waves. It is an event today, since the CD had not been available since 2004, but above all the vinyl itself had not been available since its first release in 1996. At the time, the production pressed the vinyl, which contained 12 tracks, onto a single LP with more than 30 minutes per side, which made the sound of this masterpiece dreadful. Today, we started from the original tapes to master this masterpiece properly, with only 3 tracks per side in order to restore all the power of the mix and the best possible listening quality. This album will therefore be reissued as a double vinyl: 2 x 180g, with a 350 g UV glossy sleeve to restore all its former glory to this cornerstone album in the group’s career.
