Dung 4

Description

In 1989, shortly after launching their own label Cow Records, Inspiral Carpets released their first mail-order item, the DUNG 4 cassette. In a mill located on South Street Ashton-under-Lyne, and with almost no budget, the band changed the fate of the music scene in the northwest of England at the end of the 80s. Alongside the Stone Roses and the Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets helped create what would then be called the Madchester movement. The album is enhanced with 4 bonus tracks from their first demo, COW, recorded in May 1987.
