Flag bearers for modern British death metal, Ingested have been churning out bile-soaked anti-anthems for over a decade and a half, with a string of albums that have helped define the genre. In 2022, they return with ‘Ashes Lie Still’, their most dynamic, inventive, and daring album to date, holding nothing back, with the band describing it as "a modern essential. It still has the core Ingested elements of groovy, slamming riffs, quick drumming, and guttural vocals but there's also atmosphere, ethereal moments, and some raw, old-school aggression." Across these ten tracks, they hack, slash and bludgeon their way through everything, making this the culmination of an already impressive career. Formed in Manchester, England, in 2006, Ingested have since toured extensively with Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder, Nile, Carnifex, Revocation, and seen on festival stages across Europe like Summer Breeze Open Air. The band broke into the Billboard charts in 2018 with their album “The Level Above Human,” and were back in the charts again with their 2020 album “Where Only Gods May Tread.”
