ELLIPSIS (vinyl)

Description

After a first eponymous album in which the trio explored the history of pop culture, they return with ten new songs, ten new reasons to question their identity. But who is I Me Mine?Between past and future, fantasy and reality, I Me Mine questions its relationship to others, to oneself, to time. Catchy rhythms, pop sounds, Rhodes and analog synths, kaleidoscopic atmospheres, the trio takes us into a psychedelic mood.To create this album, the band surrounded themselves with talent: Olivier CUSSAC from Condorcet studio (Aquaserge) and Serge FAUBERT from Imprimerie studio (Kid Wise, After Marianne) for recording, Lionnel BUZAC (leader of Soma) for mixing, and Clément LIBES (Bigflo & Oli, Kid Wise) for string and synth arrangements. As a guest, Hervé Salters (General Elektriks) performed the keyboard parts on the first single "Expectations.""Visually they seem straight out of the 70s but musically these Toulousains offer us perfect melodies for 2018" Jack"A true little gem of harmonic simplicity, yet containing subtle and magnificent details. I Me Mine presents a melodic tableau that quickly becomes an obsession to discover all its facets." Indiemusic
