Identified under the acronym iDKHOW, the project I Don't Know How But They Found Me, is the work of songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Dallon Weekes. Handling instruments and musical genres with the same dexterity, the former member of Panic! at the Disco continues his explorations in 'Gloom Division', the second album by iDKHOW.Produced by Dave Fridmann (Tame Impala, MGMT) and propelled by the princely funk of its first single « What Love ? », its twelve tracks connect alternative rock, electro-pop, post-punk thrills, neo-romantic harmonies to highly autobiographical lyrics. « Music has always been a way to exorcise one's demons or emotions. In this album, I did not censor myself at all when addressing all subjects », explains Weekes, referring to a set with a strong artistic and personal ambition.
