Known by the acronym iDKHOW, the project I Don’t Know How But They Found Me is the work of songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Dallon Weekes. Equally adept with instruments and musical genres, the former Panic! at the Disco member continues his explorations in ‘Gloom Division,’ iDKHOW’s second album.
Produced by Dave Fridmann (Tame Impala, MGMT) and driven by the princely funk of its first single “What Love?”, its twelve tracks connect alternative rock, electro-pop, post-punk tremors, and neo-romantic harmonies with highly autobiographical lyrics. “Music has always been a way to exorcise demons or emotions. On this album, I didn’t censor myself at all when tackling any subject,” explains Weekes, referring to a collection with strong artistic and personal ambition.
