Counterculture icon Hyd presents their second album, rich in dynamic and textured pop tracks. To create it, Hyd surrounded themselves with creative collaborators, including their friends Hudson Mohawke, Sophie, Finn Keane (who is coming off a busy year as a producer for Charli XCX), Marcus Andersson, Saint Patrick, and Sophie's brother, Benny Long. The album cover is designed by talented photographer Michael Bailey Gates, the vinyl by producer umru, and the music videos by actress Bobbi Salvor Menuez. Hayden models for Courrèges, Junya Watanabe, and Balenciaga, and is represented by Company Gallery (New York) for their art. Hyd also founded QT, a performance art project featuring Hayden, Sophie, and AG Cook, signed to XL Recordings. This new album explores the transition from one form to another, the legacy of one form while transforming into another; ecosystems of queer kindness.
