Having grown up on The Kinks, The Who and The Small Faces, HushPuppies nonetheless continued to grow and return in force on March 21st with their 3rd album "The Bipolar Drift." Following the success of their first two albums "The Trap" and "Silence is Golden" (over 35,000 copies sold and 400 shows across Europe), the five boys locked themselves away for the entire summer of 2010 in the legendary Studio Plus 30 to record this third album, with the collaboration of producer Axel Concato (Axel And The Farmers). With the help of this experienced ear, they experimented with new things and incorporated Krautrock, pop, and electro sounds into their powerful guitar riffs, in line with the evolution of their musical tastes. This work allowed the band to open up new musical horizons where the alchemy between their early influences, their sound honed on stage, and their more recent musical discoveries works wonderfully.
