One of the highlights of Hugues Aufray, venerable elder of French song, who started his career in the early sixties, was being among the first Francophone artists to understand the importance of Bob Dylan's lyrics and to sing them in French. A great example can be found in this album recorded at the Olympia with "N’y pense plus, tout est bien," the French version of "Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right" by Pierre Delanoë. In this festive live performance, Hugues also sings his own creations, including his hit that brightened up summer camps for years, "Debout les gars," as well as his hit "Santiano" and his eco-friendly song ahead of its time, "Tu sens bon la terre." The veteran Jean-Pierre Sabar, who worked with the greats of French song, from Gainsbourg to Dutronc via Sardou and Le Forestier, ensures the musical direction of this timeless live performance with a retro flavor.
