In his van, on a road trip between Morocco, Spain, and Portugal at the end of 2022; between his Parisian apartment and his hotel room in Dubai, or even in a friend's studio or in his mom's kitchen, Hugo offers us an album that calls for travel and touches us with its sincerity and power. 11 new songs plus one bonus track, sunny and unifying.
Always accompanied by his guitar, Hugo explores and mixes this time electronic and folk sounds with more synthesizers, brass, piano, and strings. "I put everything I wanted in this album, everything the songs needed to be as close to my vision and to themselves." Influenced and nourished by the strength of Florence and the Machine, the softness of the Lumineers, and the genius of Bon Iver, Hugo creates his own universe, a blend of new folk and bold pop.
