In 2026, Horse Feathers' first album, Words Are Dead, celebrates its 20th anniversary. We are excited to celebrate this event with a deluxe reissue that is fully remastered and pressed on exclusive colored vinyl. This box set will also include a replica of their original six-track demo, as well as a luxury LP cover with hot stamping. In the years following the release of Words Are Dead, Horse Feathers quietly built a body of work marked by patience and evolution rather than reinvention. Albums like House With No Home, Thistled Spring, and Cynic's New Year enriched their sound palette without sacrificing the restraint that initially distinguished them. With Appreciation, the band began to open up more, introducing richer arrangements and subtle warmth, suggesting an evolution without rupture. Throughout this period, Ringle remained a constant pillar, composing songs that prioritize emotional precision over virtuosity. The reissue of Words Are Dead does not claim to rewrite this story.
